Road Trip

Today we went on a road trip to La Grange and visited the state park there. Here are some pictures of the kids.

A Day at the Beach

We went to the beach today. The water was still a little too cold for swimming, but we had fun wading, playing in the sand, and looking for seashells. It was a perfect day for relaxing.

AWANA: Sparky Drive-in

Tonight was Sparky Drive-in at AWANA. The kids had to decorate a cardboard box to look like a vehicle, Kenzie made hers into a hot air balloon. She won a prize for the most original idea. Kacee's class got to watch the parade of cars. Here is a picture of Kacee with her boyfriend, Noah.

Soccer

Both of the little girls (and Kylie) are playing soccer this spring. Kacee has come a long way since last fall where she really did not play much. This season, she is running around the field, kicking the ball, and understanding the rules. Kenzie is doing great. She plays up with girls that are a year older than she is, and she is one of the best players. We are so proud of both of the girls.

Kites

The little girls spent an afternoon flying kites. They were so proud that they were able to get the kites up and that they stayed there.

Houston Zoo

Over Spring Break, we decided to spend a girl's day out at the zoo. Keaton was not able to come because he had a Boy Scout function.
