Kylie - Band Trip

Kylie's band attended a competition in San Antonio and then spent the rest of the day at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The band received top marks and got a huge trophy. Kylie was able to ride all of the roller coasters with her friends and had a great time.

Kari

Kari brought home a note from school this week saying that she had been nominated by 2 of her teachers to receive and award. Each grading period, the school focuses on a characteristic and teachers look for students who exhibit that behavior. This grading period, the topic was perseverance. Kari's science and history teacher chose her out of all their other students. She has progressed so much since the first day she attended school in January. We are so proud of all of her hard work!

Keaton

Keaton played his last year of flag football. He had a great season and was on a team that actually won most of their games. His coach said that he knew all of the plays and was a whiz at coming up with new ones.

Kacee - Soccer

Kacee has watched her older sisters play soccer for a long time, and now it is finally her time to get a chance to run around the field kicking the ball. She is playing Upwards soccer at our church and enjoying every minute of it.

Kylie's Birthday

Kylie is now a teenager. She celebrated her 13th birthday here at home with a cookie cake and some gifts from the family.

Kacee celebrated her fourth birthday today. Since she is infatuated with mermaids, she picked "The Little Mermaid" as her birthday theme. As you can see, all of her gifts were mermaids.
