LIFE ...as we know it.: We just got our LOA in the mail!!!!

A few moments ago, the FedEx guy rang our doorbell...and brought us our LOA! My parents are planning to send it back this evening and it should get to the agency tomorrow. My mom's hoping to leave for China possibly the week after Thanksgiving, maybe...but who knows. (Since Kenzie's birthday is December 4th, my mom is thinking she'll be in China, so we are having Thanksgiving at our house and then Kenzie's party afterwards that evening.) We also may be having Christmas late if my mom is in China (we were debating having it early, but we would like Karli to be a part of it.) So, yep...that's about it for now! Just saying we received our LOA in the mail. ;-)

Here's a little information about us... Hello, and thanks for visiting our family's blog. This is a blog primarily ran and updated by my mom and me, with the sole purpose in mind of telling our story and sharing our unique and beautiful but chaotic family with all of our friends. The unique thing about our family is that we are made up of 2 adults and 6 kids--3 of whom are adopted internationally from China. Our world turned upside down for the first time when, in 2005, we began the process to adopt our 1st angel, Kenzie, and even more so when we traveled to China in 2007 to pick her up (She was 9 months old). Feeling like our family was complete for awhile, we continued as a family of 6 people for a little over 2 years until God placed Kacee into our lives and we began the process to pick her up and bring her into our household in the summer of 2010 at age 27 months. Still, we felt incomplete as whole, so began to pray and watch God change our hearts as we stepped into the process to pursue an adoption of an older child, a 13 year old girl, Kari. She arrived home in November 2011, and I am happy to say that after 3 adoptions and a lot of love and blessings from God, our crazy family--now made up of 8 people--is now complete forever. -Kayla
