Kenzie decided she wanted to play with the stamp she received in a recent kid's meal. Instead of stamping paper, she decided to stamp herself. After realizing what she was doing, we took off her clothes and let her go at it. She thought it was great - even though her expression looks very serious.

Kacee's Care Package
The agency we are using for this adoption encourages you to send care packages to China. They even have a facilitator that translates your letter and mails it for you. We decided to send a package to Kacee for Christmas - even though Christmas is not really celebrated in China. (The candy is for her caretakers.)

Let It Snow!!!
As I mentioned in yesterday's post, it snowed here in Houston. It was beautiful and awesome and quite unexpected...it was only December 4th! Last year when we got snow, it wasn't until mid-December and even then who expects snow in Houston, TX?? It was the earliest snowfall on record, as well as the coldest day on record. It snowed about 4 hours and we got about 2 inches. Here are some pictures of us kids playing outside in the snow. To their dismay, they didn't get to play outside very long, since we don't have the proper type of clothing for snowy weather.

Guess what's happening today! :)
Today is Kenzie's birthday! We're having her party tomorrow...and guess what?! IT'S SNOWING! That's right, it's snowing in Houston, Texas of all places! In the beginning of December :)
Which sadly also means that it is FREEZING cold outside, like an icebox! However, it is also beautiful. So beautiful. The kids are loving it, seeing as where we live we almost never see snow. Right now, they're outside playing with each other in the snow, and I'm here in the warm weather, admiring the beauty from our windows :) What a way for Keenie to have a birthday! Must be God's present to her ;) I'll post pics later this evening or tomorrow.
