Old MacDonald Had A Farm...

E-I-E-I-O. Last Sunday "The Littles" went to a birthday party at Old MacDonald's Farm. They had a great time playing on the huge sand hill, petting the animals, and swinging on the rope swing. The birthday cake and piñata were fun too. They even got to pick out a pumpkin to take home after the party. Just as their personalities are so different, so were their pumpkins; Kenzie picked the biggest she could find while Karli picked one of the smallest.

Fall Festival - Take 2

The kids enjoyed the Fall Festival the week before Halloween that we decided to go to another one Halloween night. Here are some pictures of "The Littles" having fun.

New Family Addition

Last Saturday, we took a roadtrip. We found a puppy on the internet and drove about 2 hours to pick her up. She is a Finnish Spitz, and is so adorable. Kenzie named her Abby. Here are some pictures of everyone and Abby.

Fall Festival

We really do not celebrate Halloween. The weekend before Halloween our church had a Fall Festival with games, jumping things, food, and CANDY!!! Everyone had a great time.

Here's a little information about us... Hello, and thanks for visiting our family's blog. This is a blog primarily ran and updated by my mom and me, with the sole purpose in mind of telling our story and sharing our unique and beautiful but chaotic family with all of our friends. The unique thing about our family is that we are made up of 2 adults and 6 kids--3 of whom are adopted internationally from China. Our world turned upside down for the first time when, in 2005, we began the process to adopt our 1st angel, Kenzie, and even more so when we traveled to China in 2007 to pick her up (She was 9 months old). Feeling like our family was complete for awhile, we continued as a family of 6 people for a little over 2 years until God placed Kacee into our lives and we began the process to pick her up and bring her into our household in the summer of 2010 at age 27 months. Still, we felt incomplete as whole, so began to pray and watch God change our hearts as we stepped into the process to pursue an adoption of an older child, a 13 year old girl, Kari. She arrived home in November 2011, and I am happy to say that after 3 adoptions and a lot of love and blessings from God, our crazy family--now made up of 8 people--is now complete forever. -Kayla
